Fall in Love with the East Texas Arboretum 2025

Fall in Love with the East Texas Arboretum 🍁This past weekend, families from all across Athens and Henderson County, Texas joined us for our Fall in Love with the East Texas Arboretum celebration — a beautiful day filled with sunshine, laughter, and community spirit. With cooler air, colorful leaves, and 104 acres of natural beauty, it was the perfect way to welcome fall to East Texas!
Visitors explored our trails and gardens, enjoyed live music and lawn games, and captured special moments at photo stations throughout the grounds. Richard Hawkins Photography provided professional fall family photos against the stunning backdrop of pumpkins, mums, and golden leaves — creating memories that will last a lifetime.
Guests also delighted in the delicious offerings from Treehouse Cupcakes and Frozen Treats, serving everything from wood-fired pizzas and fresh coffee to homemade lemonades and sweet treats. Children laughed and played in the bounce house provided by Newman’s Bounce House, while families spent the day picnicking, exploring, and taking in the beauty that surrounds the Arboretum year-round.
A major highlight of the day was the BIG Reveal from the Henderson County Master Gardeners, presented in partnership with the Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service – Henderson County. Their dedication to education, conservation, and community engagement continues to enrich the Arboretum and inspire visitors of all ages.
We are deeply grateful to everyone who helped make this event possible — from our community partners and sponsors to the many volunteers who give their time and energy to keep the East Texas Arboretum & Botanical Society thriving.
