Keep Us Growing

Following are ways you can donate and help ensure that the East Texas Arboretum & Botanical Society will be here for generations to come:
  • Planned Gifts: Charitable gifts, wills, life insurance,  donations, etc.
  • Memorial Gifts: Any gift to honor or memorialize a loved one, including birthdays and anniversaries.
  • IRA Charitable Rollover: With the IRA charitable rollover, you can make a gift from your IRA account to help support the work of our organization.  Gifts from your IRA (up to $100,000 per year) are not reported as taxable income and qualify for your required minimum distribution that can lower your income and taxes.
  • Individual Memberships: Yearly memberships are available at several levels.
  • Business Memberships: Yearly membership to help both you and your clients have the best experience.
  • Corporate Memberships: Organizations can secure bulk ticket prices for guests, clients, employee appreciation, along with discounted venue rentals.
  • Equipment Donations:  Mowers, tractors, or other lawn and garden equipment are welcome.

Become a Member

​Operations are also funded through annual memberships.  The East Texas Arboretum and Botanical Society charges a fee to visit the grounds.  Current members receive free admittance except for special events. 
Corporate Memberships
Access bulk tickets for your guests and clients. Great for hotels, vacation rentals, health care professionals, realtors, insurance agents and more. 
Individual Memberships
Take advantage of 12 month admission to the Arboretum. Members also receive discounts to community workshops and education classes. 
Business Membership
With a yearly membership, you can book photoshoots at the Arboretum, year-round.

Volunteer

Volunteers come from Athens, Henderson County, and other areas. Each has helped in their own way to make the East Texas Arboretum & Botanical Society what it is today.  You are invited to become an Arboretum volunteer, contributing your unique and special talents and skills.
