Following are ways you can donate and help ensure The East Texas Arboretum & Botanical Society will be here for generations to come:
  • Planned Gifts: Charitable gifts, wills, life insurance,  donations, etc.
  • Memorial Gifts: Any gift to honor or memorialize a loved one, including birthdays and anniversaries.
  • IRA Charitable Rollover: With the IRA charitable rollover, you can make a gift from your IRA account to help support the work of our organization.  Gifts from your IRA (up to $100,000 per year) are not reported as taxable income and qualify for your required minimum distribution that can lower your income and taxes.
  • Memberships: Yearly memberships are available at several levels.
  • Equipment: Donations of mowers, tractors or other lawn and garden equipment are welcome.

Operations are also funded through annual memberships.  The East Texas Arboretum and Botanical Society charges a fee to visit the grounds.  Current members receive free admittance except for special events.

Volunteers come from Athens, Henderson County and other areas. Each has helped in their own way to make the East Texas Arboretum what it is today.  You are invited to become an Arboretum volunteer, contributing your unique and special talents and skills.
