Twilight HikeHit the Trails with the Director!
Join our executive director for a guided nature hike on the Hickory and Dogwood trails. Step into the trails at twilight and explore how the forest changes in the evening hours. When: Thursday, September 26th at 6:30pm Where: Check in at the office and the group will depart for the trail head together. 1601 Patterson Rd. Athens, TX 75751 What to bring: Yourself! Reusable water bottle and bug repellent highly recommended. Wear closed-toe shoes and clothes comfortable for light hiking. What is the Cost: $20 for non-members and $10 for members |
Impressions in BotanyBack by popular demand is our artful community workshop. Connect with your inner Monet as the instructor guides you on a painting experience.
When: Saturday, September 28th from 10:00am-12:00pm Where: Check in at the office, and the group will depart for the workshop location together. 1601 Patterson Rd. Athens, TX 75751 What to bring: Yourself and a reusable water bottle! Please wear hiking-appropriate clothes and footwear. Bug repellent is highly recommended. All painting supplies will be provided. Participants may bring additional supplies if they desire, but it is not required to participate. Cost: $35 for non-members and $25 for members |
